Help Us Get 5,000 Trees and Plants in the Ground!

Come help restore the Santa Monica Mountains – EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY IN MARCH. Join the National Park Service, Plastic Oceans International, Malibu Foundation and Trees & Seas in the effort to reforest this ecosystem that has been ravaged by wildfires in recent years. Throughout March, together, with your help, we’ll be planting over 5,000 trees, plants and shrubs in the Rancho Sierra Vista/Sitwawa area in Newbury Park. This activity is appropriate for ages 5 and up. Masks will be required when working within 6ft of others. Please bring water, sunscreen and a sun hat. Wear hiking attire, closed toe shoes and pants and long-sleeved shirt are recommended. Gloves and tools will be provided.

IMPORTANT! DUE TO COVID-RELATED PROTOCOLS, PLEASE PRE-REGISTER TO SECURE A VOLUNTEER SLOT. IF YOU DO NOT PRE-REGISTER, WE CANNOT GUARANTEE YOU A SPOT.
