Francesca is originally from Italy, but spent most of her life in Hawaii where she developed a strong connection to the Ocean.

For the past 20 years, her passion for surfing brought her to amazing places around the world and when Indonesia became her home, the impact of plastic pollution become something really up fronting.

She now lives in Portugal, where she teaches yoga and runs Plastic Oceans Europe’s social media with great enthusiasm and love for the cause.
