Moderator Asher Jay’s compelling paintings, sculptures, installations, animations, ad campaigns, and films all have a single purpose: to incite global action on behalf of wildlife conservation. Asher is the founder and CEO of Hive and Hamlet, and is recognized as a National Geographic Explorer.

MATTHEW MODINE

Panelist – Matthew Modine has been a mainstay of film, television and stage for over 40 years. He’s starred in such iconic films as Full Metal Jacket, The Dark Knight Rises, Married to the Mob,  and Vision Quest; and on the small screen in Law & Order and Netflix’s Stranger Things.

MARISSA QUINN

Panelist – Marissa is the official artist of this year’s Trees & Seas festival! She is renowned for her highly detailed pen and ink drawings based on personal visions and dream states. Her work narrates the cyclical stories of extinction and growth in nature.

Panelist – Mahani is a pioneering artist who bridges the creative world with education and environmental activism. She is a co-founder of Toki Music School on Easter Island and a world-renowned classical pianist. Her recent album, Rapa Nui Odyssey, has received rave reviews and was #1 on the classical charts.
