Plant, Pick and Party in Tofino

Tofino T&S Event

Join Surfrider Foundation and Redd Fish Restoration Society for their full-day event in Tofino, British Columbia focused on regenerating terrestrial and marine environments. Their actions are reflected in the health of these systems. Together, we will promote stewardship of the land and water through these activities.

Free entry to the lil’Ronnie’s after party for the first 50 guests who show up, who participated in both the plant and cleanup. Additional entry: $15, Capacity: 150

The event’s schedule is:

Redd Fish native species planting
10am – 12pm 4th Street Rain Garden, Wick School, Tofino

Surfrider beach cleanup
1pm – 3pm north public beach entrance, Cox Bay

LIVE Music, food, drink & prize
6pm – 9pm Lil’ ronnies BBQ @ Mackenzie Beach Resort, Tofino

Trees & Seas is an annual celebration, presented by Montes Wines and organized by Plastic Oceans International, uniting ocean and forest conservation worldwide. The official dates are September 16 – 25, with year-round programming. This year’s goals are to plant over 250,000 trees, cleanup over 20 million square feet of land and sea, educate over 100,000 kids, to go along with offering dozens of film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, live music and more.

Únete a Surfrider Foundation y Redd Fish Restoration Society para su evento de día completo en Tofino, British Columbia enfocado en regenerar ambientes terrestres y marinos. Plantación de plantas nativas con Redd Fish

Trees & Seas es una celebración anual, presentada por Montes Wines y organizada por Plastic Oceans International, que une la conservación de los océanos y los bosques en todo el mundo. Las fechas oficiales son del 16 al 25 de septiembre, con programación durante todo el año. Los objetivos de este año son plantar más de 250,000 árboles, limpiar más de 20 millones de pies cuadrados de tierra y mar, educar a más de 100,000 niños, además de ofrecer docenas de proyecciones de películas, talleres, paneles de discusión, música en vivo y más.
