Tree Planting in The Blue Mountains, Canada

Treetrust TBM, Thornbury Clarksburg Rotary, and The Town of the Blue Mountains, will be holding two tree planting events on Saturday, September 24, 2022. All members of the public are invited to help out (by applying compost, mulch and water) or simply to watch and celebrate the planting of more than 25 large, eight-foot-tall trees!
Trees & Seas is an annual celebration, presented by Montes Wines and organized by Plastic Oceans International, uniting ocean and forest conservation worldwide. The official dates are September 16 – 25, with year-round programming. This year’s goals are to plant over 250,000 trees, cleanup over 20 million square feet of land and sea, educate over 100,000 kids, to go along with offering dozens of film screenings, workshops, panel discussions, live music and more.
