Olivia & Ruby Tomlinson
Olivia and Ruby are the joint Country Managers for the UK. They are in a unique position being sisters that share a passion for the environment. Both have been enamoured with nature having enjoyed their early childhoods in Australia, their schooling in England and travelling the world to visit family and experience the amazing wonders of the world. Both sisters love nature with an increasing passion for the ocean, its creatures and the reefs after pursuing a scuba diving qualification in 2019 – on the Great Barrier Reef at the edge of a tropical cyclone. Their most recent feat is becoming certified Advanced Open Water Divers! Both girls are Turtle Guardians with ‘The Land Between’, an organisation working towards researching and educating people on the plethora of wildlife found within Canada. Both have been involved in several MUN conferences, within the UK and in The Hague advocating for a more integrated society that works with discussing and changing environmental and socioeconomic topics.
Olivia will be starting her final year of Zoology in September this year at Royal Holloway University and Ruby will be starting her undergraduate degree in Zoology also at Royal Holloway University in September! Olivia is also an Outreach Educator for Biodiversity with one of her lecturers where they visit local schools and engage them in sustainability, biodiversity and local wildlife. They have recently founded the Wolfe Nature Foundation with their youngest sister to share their passion for nature and the environment with everyone!
Overall, they are aiming to create a more sustainable world by instilling their love of nature with others through scientific communication.
