Quinllei Silva

Licenciada en Terapia Ocupacional de la Universidad Austral de Chile. Amante del mar y consciente del impacto medioambiental que generan nuestras acciones como individuos en nuestro entorno. Por ello, fue parte de la cohorte del Programa de Honor de Sociedad, Ambiente y Cambio Climático de su universidad cuyo enfoque transdisciplinario se centra en temáticas medioambientales y de desarrollo humano sostenible. Una vez finalizado el programa, tuvo la necesidad de aportar conocimiento por medio de su disciplina, a diversas problemáticas que afectan actualmente a nuestro océano y su correlación con nuestra salud. Así como también, la importancia de visibilizar no sólo la responsabilidad individual que tenemos frente a este fenómeno sino también, lo relevante de que los gobiernos generen políticas públicas sostenibles con el medio ambiente y la comunidad para una calidad de vida y bienestar colectivo.

Quinllei has a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Austral University of Chile. She is a lover of the sea and aware of the environmental impact generated by our actions as individuals in our environment. For this reason, she was part of the cohort of the Society, Environment and Climate Change Honors Program of her university whose transdisciplinary approach focuses on environmental issues and sustainable human development. Once the program was finished, she had the need to contribute knowledge through her discipline, to various problems that currently affect our ocean and its correlation with our health. As well as the importance of making visible not only the individual responsibility that we have in the face of this phenomenon, but also the importance of governments generating sustainable public policies with the environment and the community for a quality of life and collective well-being.
