In order to dream of a sustainable city we must join forces. The collaborative work with Plastic Ocean and the screening of documentaries in the community has given us the possibility of sharing and dialoguing with different territories, and thus getting a little closer to this dream.

Something that interests me about Plastic Oceans' films is the closeness that is generated with the public, as a film programmer and promoter it has been a great way to enhance the perspective of environmental care in a realistic and sustainable way over time, linking the audiovisual and the conversations after the screening with the practical workshops about the management of plastic in everyday life.

There is no away – because plastic is so permanent and so indestructible. When you cast it into the ocean, it doesn't go away.
