Moderator – Ana Hanhausen is one of Mexico’s top young environmentalists. She has served as a senior project manager for Plastic Oceans Mexico for the past few years, and was recently awarded the Youth Medal of Merit by Mexico City’s Congress for her record in raising awareness on climate change and motivating the youth to take action and become a part of the solution

ACHARE ELVIS AYAMBA
Panelist – Achare Elvis Ayamba is the founder and executive director of the Environment and Food Foundation, in Douala, Cameroon. He was recently recognized as one of the top 100 young environmentalists on the African continent.

Panelist – Julieta Martinez is the founder of Tremenda, an NGO that promotes the empowerment of girls, adolescents and young people by inviting them to put their skills and talents at the service of the community to generate social impact.

YVETTE GRIFFITHS
Panelist – Yvette Griffiths works in operations for Ninth Wave Mexico. She has taken her socio environmental work around the world, having worked in Ghana for an organisation focusing on children who have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS, and lived with communities in rural Nepal to support the building of resilience to environmental disasters.
