Santiago, Chile, May 20, 2021 – Plastic Oceans International today announces the passing of new legislation in Chile that will implement regulations to greatly reduce single-use plastic waste throughout the country. Although just a formality, the bill will now go to the President for signing and then presented as a public notice, at which time it will become national law.
What do we feel at all times prior to going into action? Whatever the action is, it is normal to always feel tickling in the body, and nervousness . Santiago, Chile – March 5, 2021 – Earth’s Ekko, a short film for kids, aged 5 to 12, and produced by Plastic Oceans International, will make its Chilean national broadcast debut on Friday, March 5, at 10pm, with a follow-up airing on Sunday at the same time.
The need to understand the environment from a multidisciplinary approach has always been accepted by academics. However, how we approach environmental education within society is very different. Society views the environment as a separate system or category to our human-made system. As a result, when we try to solve problems, we usually create new problems. While we do not intend to cause problems, our focus on solving a problem without the understanding of how our system interacts with the environmental system, has, and always will, create other problems. We need to take a multidisciplinary approach.
